As an actor myself, stage plays, songs, emotions

What are the things you learnt and felt through the plays?
The importance of assiduousness, perhaps? I started being part of musicals only a short time ago, and what is worse is that, when I started, I was (already) old enough. When it was decided I'd start together with yougnsters, to be honest my insecurities were a lot. However, as I practiced hard, there were many times the experience gained in the "action world" came in handy. That helped me grow and to be confident. The experience I am gaining now is definitely not a waste, that is why I came to think that I should do my best to absorb what I can learn right now.

What are the important things you do when performing?
I am not adroit, so, either way, I do my utmost whole heartly in a play. That is all I can do for... the spectators who spend their precious time watching our plays and the staffers who do their best behind the scenes, after all. Right, there is one more thing: "Safety before everything". This is crucial. No matter how good you want a play to be, if you get hurt, you'll lose everything. I sometimes feel uneasy when I look at how hard the other cast members work, so if I catch sight of that I try to support them without anyone noticing.

What is the role that has left an impression on you among the ones you've played so far?
We took up a request before about wanting to see a different Genesis than what was shown up until now, so we performed a program called "Tokumei Sentai Genesis Rangers (Special Operations Squadron Genesis Rangers)". I was assigned the leader Tokumei Red, Yuuta, but it was somehow tough. Even though Genesis is full of well-versed members, there were almost no members with experience in special effects. Since I graduated from being a suit actor and I was the center, I thought I had to lead the team, so I was more tense than usual.

Please tell us what you'd want to do, where you'd want to go if you had a long vacation.
I have a younger brother, so I'd like to go together to the zoo. I used to take him there when he was little, but lately I've been busy... Eh? What is it, Gaku?
"Your brother isn't at a age where he'd be happy to go to the zoo?"
... Whaat! Is... that... so?
... I am sorry, there is an age difference between us, so I still think of him as a kid... Then, I would like to take him somewhere he wants to go that is not the zoo. After that... Gaku, Rei-kun and Ryousuke-kun. I would also like to take the "little brothers" of the theatre company somewhere. As for Takuma-san... he doesn't cope well with zoos, so going out for a drink just the two of us is fine, too.

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans, Yuutarou-san?
Thank you for being a fan of someone like me who just recently became an actor. Genesis, to which I belong, is a theatre company that can bring excitement to the audience the most. Both the cast and the staff are really capable, and, above all, they are working hard on the musicals. I will try hard not to lose to them, and aim to be a better actor.
Please keep cheering for me.
