Event Story – Spring Has Sprung! Happy Easter, ch.7

Brad: You know that because of the cold wave preparing fresh flowers in large batches is difficult, right? The higher-ups believe it will be impossible to decorate the LOM venue if the present situation were to continue.
It seems that they want to postpone it until we have a stable supply of fresh flowers, at least superficially...
Since it's just a front for the usual LOM that contributes largely to the Sector Ranking, it seems we will prioritize holding that and only stop with the Easter decorations inside the venue.
In other words it was called off.

Will: T- That can't be...

Oscar: What will happen to the egg hunt and parade, to the events scheduled to be held in other places besides the LOM venue?

Brad: In the case of cancelling the "Easter league", it seems that all related events will also be called off.

Will: ......

Oscar: Is there a way for us to avoid this?

Brad: ... The cancellation came up in our conversation because of the weekly forecast stating that the cold wave would persist until Easter.
If in a few days the weather makes a recovery and we're able to get the flowers, then it will probably be held.

Akira: Oi, oi, oi, oi, wait a sec!

Oscar: A- Akira...

Akira: Is what you just said true!? I can't believe they're cancelling the "Easter league"...

Brad: It's not a done deal yet.

Akira: Grrr... Ssssshit! As if I'm gonna let them cancel it so easily!
We just need for the cold wave to go away, no!? How about I use my hero ability to warm up the venue!?

Brad: How do you plan on warming it up?

Akira: ? If it burns vigorously, it'll get warmer, no?

Brad: ... Given the fact that it's an issue on so many levels, I'll just leave it be.
The problem is more about lacking fresh flowers rather than the climate.
Even if it's cold on that day, with flowers we can gloss the Easter over as a way to "celebrate the coming of spring"... That's what the higher-ups think.

Akira: Flowers... Flowers, huh...

Will: ......

ー A few days later.



Will: HAAAAH!!
Haah, haah... this is the 5th...

(Brad-san said that if we have plants... fresh flowers we can host the "Easter league".
I can make the flowers bloom with my hero ability. I will make the plants all over the city grow in order not to cancel the "Easter league".
I've been doing my best like this everyday since the day after what Akira said, but... I still have a long way to go. 
But this is better than doing nothing.  There's a possibility that the cold wave will pass and the flowers will bloom in the meantime...
This is my first "Easter league" since I became a hero... And as one, I have to do what I can to make the citizens happy...!)
