Will: I'll try asking if they have glutinous rice to make mochi to as many Japanese sweet shops as I can think of.
The New Year's atmosphere has quieted down, but if I go to Little Tokyo maybe I'll find some people making mochi.
I don't know if there will really be and we don't have time... but I'm not going to give up, I'll go take a look!

Gast: ... I agree with Will's plan. We're cutting it awfully close, but we still have time. It's too early to give up.

Akira: !!
