Roy: Oh, this isn't a book by that mystery writer you bought the other day.

Ren: ... Yeah, I've read all their works.

Gray: So, Ren-kun really likes this author... I wonder what kind of novels they write...

 

Ren: Are you interested?

Gray: Oh, just a little... I'm not really the type to read novels that much, but if it's an author that you like, I think I might want to check it out...

Ren: ... I've recently started reading this author too, and if you're new to mysteries, I definitely recommend it.
It's a classic mystery, but the characters are really one-of-a-kind, and the writing is kid-friendly. It doesn't stick to the the typical quirks that writers usually rely on, which makes it easy to follow.
However, it seems like the stories started to go off course as the volumes went on... If you're going to read their works, the older ones are better.

Gray: Got it... So, I should just check out the older books instead of the new ones.

Ren: Yeah.

Roy: Honestly, I doubt there will be any new releases.That author passed away last year, I think.

Ren: Huh? Really?

Roy: Yeah, my old man said that. I remembered it since I heard he lived in the neighborhood.

Akira: In Red South?

Roy: That's what I've heard.

Ren: I see. That's a little sad to hear.



Jack: 「Emergency! Emergency!
We've detected a substance near Carmine Street. Heroes nearby, please respond quickly to prevent any incidents...」

Akira: Here we go, time for the hero to shine! I'm heading out!

Ren: Wait, I'm coming too.

Gray: M- Me too.

Akira: Chill out, I got this, I'm part of South Sector.

Ren: I can't let you handle it alone.

Gray: I- I think I can also help out if there's a need for evacuation or something...

Akira: ... That so? Just don't get in my way, alright?

Gray: Y- Yes...

Ren: That won't happen.

Roy: Hope to see you again soon~



Jet: (But who would have thought we'd end up trapped in a place like this?)

Gray: (Yeah... I'm really glad that Akira-kun and Ren-kun are here with me... I doubt I would have been able to think things through like this if I were on my own...
I mean, it doesn't really look like you're going to lend a hand, do you?)

Jet: (You get me.
Who in their right mind would choose to work under a boss like that? But hey, I suppose it suits you lot, kukuku.)

Gray: (Sigh... Maybe it's better if you don't come out...)

Ren: Okay, we've got our plan. Let's go check on the suspects before the incident happens.

Gray: I'll help too...

Akira: In that case, I'll keep an eye on the master's room. Just to check if anyone gets too close.

Ren: Alright, let's meet at the entrance later

Akira: Hey Gray, make sure to keep an eye on Ren so he doesn't get lost.

Gray: Y- Yes.

Ren: Mind your business...
