Junior: What's going on? Why are you shouting so loud, Asch?

Oscar: Junior... and Faith-san.

Faith: What, Oscar? You're getting a talking-to?

Oscar: ...!

Asch: You came at the right time. You think it's better to take action right away or to wait and see?

Faith: Huh? What now?

Junior: Wait and see... of course!

Asch: ...... I knew it. That, that damn Dino said it, right?

Junior: Yep! People always say the early bird gets the worm, but since heroes are here to protect the citizens and the city, I learned that being the first to act isn't always a good thing.
Well, it depends on the situation, though.

Asch: What the hell? The little brat seems to understand things better than you!

Junior: Hey now! Who's the little brat――

Asch: Don't just take what that pizza jerk says at stupid face value. Your skills are clearly geared towards striking first.

Oscar: Hmm... I get it... but I've been doing just fine without having to do that until now.
 

Asch: Cut the crap! Don't you dare talk back! I'm telling you to do it, so just do it. If you don't, you'll flunk the exam!

Oscar: ... I'll think about it.

Faith: Ah, I get it. You guys are training for the promotion exam to become major heroes. Good luck~

Oscar: !! Thank you very much, Faith-san.

Junior: Wait, I just realized Ash and Oscar were Dino's mentees too.

but I was definitely less thoughtful back then, so Dino-san helped me see things differently.

The whole take action versus wait and see discussion is a perfect case in point. I always believed taking action was the answer, but Dino-sam helped me see it in a different light.

Asch: Come on, you can't be serious about that.

Oscar: Why? You surely learned a lot from Dino-san too.

It looked like you had more trust in Dino-san and were more open with him than with the other mentors.

Asch: What the hell...? I can't even remember that jerk――

Oscar: Did you forget, Asch? You once asked Dino-san for help yourself—

Asch seemed like he didn't want to talk about it, so I secretly asked Oscar. I promised to keep it to myself.

Dino: Ahahah, please do... He probably doesn't want people to know he can't handle alcohol.

Faith: Oh, I knew that already. I think I've heard it from Billy?

Dino: B- Billy-kun...

Faith: Still, it's really a bummer that he had a rough experience with drinking on his 20th birthday and now has that memory to remember.

Dino: Well, I heard he threw a big birthday party and told everyone to come by...

Faith: Ah, is that why he overdid it with the drinks?

Dino: He kept getting asked to toast, and it seemed like he realized it was getting out of hand, but his pride probably took over in the end.
I remember getting a call from him in a surprisingly weak voice, totally unlike the usual Asch, and it made me jump out of bed.
The next day, when I tried to bring it up, he just kept saying, 'What are you talking about?' and 'I don't remember,' which was pretty funny.

 

Faith: No way? You can easily tell he knew if he pulled something like that.

Asch is really funny, isn't he?

Dino: Don't tease me too much, okay? Seriously, let's keep this between us.

Faith: I will.

But I'm considering pestering him a bit. After all, Asch is also your former mentee, not just Oscar.

Dino: Well, I was only responsible for them for about 6 months, so I didn’t really have much influence on—
