Will: Hmhmhmm~♪ Fufu, I'm very excited for Christmas.
Hey, Akira. Are you going to drop by your parents' house to say hi during Christmas or New Year? 

Akira: Noope. I have no plans to go back this year since we've got the Christmas League and New Year's LOM.

Will: You have a point, the Christmas season is a busy time when you become a hero.
I'll go back home when things have calmed down; as for Christmas and New Year, I think I'll just go say hi on the way back from patrol. I want to give my sisters their Christmas gifts.

Akira: Pretty sure they'll be happy.
I also plan to go back for a lil' bit when New Year's LOM is over. I've gotta train to rev up for 1st place in Sector Ranking until then. 
So help me train to become stronger, Oscar.

Oscar: Sure, fine by me.

Akira: Yass! Wonder what kinda match I'll have you do...

Oscar: Match? I don't mind, but make it as meaningful as possible.

Will: Akira. Oscar-san has also his own training to do, so don't be unreasonable.

Akira: I know that! Geez, you're fuzzy as always...

Brad: I'm back.

Oscar: Welcome back, Brad-sama. You must have had a long day.

Brad: Yeah.
Akira, you're just the one I wanted to see. I have an urgent matter for you.

Akira: Hm? For me?
Hah! Don't tell me it's a special mission!? Maan, geniuses are sure busy, huh! Ha Ha Ha!

Brad: No, it's not a special mission.

Brad: Have you ever seen the TV program "New Year Heroes"?

Akira: It's that program that goes on air every year on New Year, right? I watch it almost every year.

Will: It's the program where a hero introduces how they spend New Year and gives a performance of their skills, right?
Being able to get a glimpse of a hero's normal life and their enthusiastic side is interesting... 

Brad: Actually, it seems that the public relations department wants Akira to appear on that program.

Akira: W- What!? The public relations department has finally nominated me to...!?

If I remember correctly, every year they can choose an outstanding person or a famous one among the many heroes belonging to "HELIOS", right?

Brad: That's right. The broadcasting station and the public relations department consult each other to decide on the selection of hero, but that's basically it.
However, on years the tryouts are conducted it is customary to have one of the rookies appear.
It seems that this year it took a lot of time to consider which rookie was worthy of it, including Junior, known as Leonard Wright's son, and Faith, who is popular among women.

Akira: To be chosen among them... Well, this goes without saying, but both the broadcasting station and the public relations department have good judgment.

Brad: It seems that the public relations department is expecting Akira to do something extraordinary because of what happened on Halloween and so on.

Brad: When the plan is decided, the public relations department and the broadcasting station will confirm the content.
