Event Story – Fairies Dancing Between The Acts, ch.7

Robin: So, did you notice anything unusual? If not, we’ll wrap up the patrol here.
Sage: Everything was fine.
Nico: All clear here.
Jude: ......
Robin: Did something happen, Jude?
Jude: Bianchi didn't show up. I can't think of anything more unusual than that.
Robin: I told them that it's all right to patrol only when they have time on their hands. For now, we’ll be making the rounds ourselves.
Jude: Bianchi...
Robin: How about we call it a day on the patrol?
Sage: Great job, everyone!
Nico: Good work.
Robin: I'm going to head back to the tower first, but you all are still planning to go to the theater, right?
Sage: Yes, we're meeting with the director today.
Robin: Make sure to pass along my regards to the manager, then.
Nico: Robin's busy too, huh?
Sage: He is. It seems like he’s juggling a lot of meetings and staying up late to deal with paperwork.
Nico: I’ll be in charge of dinner tonight, then.
Sage: Really!? Now I’m excited to see what you'll make! ♪
Nico: I’ll grab some groceries and then head home. You can attend the meeting without me.
Sage: Huh? You're not coming?
Nico: You don't need me there.
Sage: Of course we do. I at least believe it’s worth your time.
Jude: No, he's not needed.
Sage: Huh...?
Jude: Not just Nico. You and I, Sage, are both unnecessary.
It's all about Bianchi. If Bianchi isn't there, you might as well stay in.
Sage: It's true... that we can't have a proper discussion about the costumes without Bianchi-san...
Jude: It's not just about the costumes. This whole musical is meant for Bianchi. If Bianchi can't be part of it, then it's pointless.
Sage: Jude-kun.....
Jude: That being said, I'm going to pass on the meeting. I'm off to see Bianchi.
Sage: Ah, Jude-kun, wait!
Nico: ... Bianchi said they're counting on you.
Jude: ...? What are you talking about, Nico?
Nico: I mentioned to Bianchi how committed you are to practice last night, and they said they have high expectations of you.
Jude: Bianchi was at the tower?
Nico: You didn't see them?
Jude: No, I was in the training room until late.
Nico: Bianchi left right away, so you must have missed them.
They said they’d give their all for the costumes. That’s why they’re trusting you with the ensemble.
Jude: Ah, I see that’s what we're getting at.
Alright then, let's go, Sage.
Sage: Go where...?
Jude: Of course, we’re headed to the meeting!
Sage: Hehe, got it. Let's go!
Thank you for making sure he stayed, Nico.
Nico: Yep, I’m starting to get the hang of how to deal with him.
Sage: Alright, we're going then. I'm looking forward to what's for dinner, Nico ♪
Nico: Yeah.

Nico: (... We're having omelets for dinner—what else?
Minestrone? Tom yum kung?
I want to make an apple pie, but it won't be anywhere near as good as Robin's.)
Hm?
Bianchi: Let's see, frozen meatballs, burger patties...
Nico: That stuff's not that good.
Bianchi: Kyah!? Nico, sweetie...
Nico: That's for yesterday.
Bianchi: Haah... I was really caught off guard...
Nico: Stocking up on frozen foods?
Bianchi: You know how easy frozen meals are to prepare? Just one button and even kids can handle it. I stash a couple away for my siblings for those "you never know" times.
Nico: I used to eat a ton of that stuff, but nothing compares to Robin's cooking.
Bianchi: Compared to Robin, I guess.
Honestly, I’d love to make something for them, but... when I’m helping them study or just playing, I kind of forget about making food.
Nico: Hmm.
Bianchi: Anyway, I'm sorry I wasn't there during patrol today.
Nico: It's all good. Nothing really happened.
Bianchi: I'm glad to hear that.
Nico: Also, yeah, Jude was kind of losing it. As soon as I mentioned that you had high hopes for him, he got really fired up.
Bianchi: I really appreciate that. Looks like you're also starting to understand how to handle Jude now.
Nico: In a way.
Bianchi: Oh, I should probably head home soon...
Nico: Got something to do?
Bianchi: There's something I need to discuss with the nanny before they head home.
I’d like to go home soon, but I still have some shopping to do.
Nico: How about I do it?
Bianchi: You?
Nico: I'm out shopping, so I might as well take care of this too.
Bianchi: ......
Nico: No need to hold back. I can get it done in no time with my ability.
Bianchi: ... I'll take you up on that, then. I’ll send you the address later.
Nico: Got it.
Bianchi: I’ll take you out for some really spicy dandan noodles next time.
Nico: Normal dandan noodles with extra toppings works better.
